Eazylay Concrete and RS Concrete Pumping are growing businesses with an expanding fleet and a reputation for safety, reliability and professionalism. As we continue to scale, we're bringing our vehicle maintenance in-house and are now recruiting a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician / HGV & Plant Fitter to help support the safe, compliant and efficient operation of our equipment and vehicles.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, full-time position that will involve working independently and as part of a team across multiple aspects of vehicle and equipment maintenance. No two days will be the same - and for the right person, this role has the scope to grow with the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out scheduled servicing and general repairs across a fleet of concrete mixers, HGV's and Concrete Pumps.
Supporting workshop maintenance and fault diagnosis.
Assisting with batching plant maintenance and fault diagnosis.
Recording work digitally using our Fleetcheck system and digital maintenance records.
Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment meet DVSA roadworthiness standards.
Responding to vehicle breakdowns when required.
Working proactively to plan and prioritise maintenance tasks based on operational needs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We want someone with the right experience and attitude who can hit the ground running.

Essential:

Proven experience working with HGV's, plant or heavy equipment.
Strong understanding of DVSA legislation and vehicle compliance.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
Computer literate.
Flexible with time and willing to support wider business needs when required.

Preferred:

Class 2 (Category C) HGV License.
Previous experience with fleet management systems.
Experience working on concrete pumps or batching plant equipment.
