Maintenance Operative

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join a busy automotive site in Thurleigh. This role will involve supporting the upkeep of the site through general maintenance, facilities duties and outdoor work to ensure the site remains safe, clean and operational.

The Role

• Carry out ad hoc maintenance tasks and minor repairs across the site.
• Support general facilities duties including painting and basic upkeep.
• Undertake general site cleaning and clearing duties.
• Remove waste and segregate recycling in line with site policies.
• Carry out manual handling tasks as required.
• Drive site maintenance vehicles where necessary.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance across the site.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Counterbalance Forklift licence.
• Previous experience or a strong interest in maintenance or facilities work.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail.
