Job Description
Logistics Officer (part-time: 3 days per week)
Responsible For:
- Shipping lane qualification program for export and European freight
- Co-ordination with CMO team, supplier and consignee for freight planning
- Managing freight data / MIS
- Preparation and update of calendar for shipping lane (Air / Sea / Road) validation
- Review, follow-up, update and arrange approval for the above validation Protocol and Report
- Tracking, co-ordination and close with QA for each of the shipping lane
Tasks of Officer Logistics:
Support Shipping lane qualification program
- Active participation with Quality and SC teams to design the protocol for shipping lane qualification
- Co-ordination with CMO / Market / QA function to prepare the annual Calendar of shipping lane validation.
- Discussion with CMO / warehouse / Market team and QA in advance for the validation
- Follow-up of the shipment, gather agreed and required data to close the validation.
- Periodic update of the validation program to the stake holders
- Shipment deviation and active participation in investigation
Other tasks
- Supporting the team to manage daily task of Logistics incl. completion of forms / documents.
- Invoice processing and MIS
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Education Qualifications (Graduate- Post Graduate)
Mandatory
- Bachelor or Masters Degree (preferred) in supply chain , logistics or QA with Min. 4- 6 years' overall experience in Logistics , supply chain or QA function with close working activity .
- Sound understanding of EU GDP
Preferred
- Working Knowledge in Import / Export / Logistics
- Proficiency in MS excel , Power point & ERP
Work experience
- Total 4-6 years of experience in Logistics/ Supply chain incl. 2-4 years in pharmaceutical or Supply chain or QA function with close working experience with logistics .
Technical skills/job specific competencies
- Technical understanding of Logistics processes and EU GMP/GDP Guidelines.
- Understanding on VAT and Intrastat
- Good understanding on Import, Export and related documentation
