Practice Nurse - Headingley, Leeds

Dream Medical is looking for a Qualified Practice Nurse to work on going shifts at a GP Surgery in Headingley.

Role: Locum Practice Nurse covering up to 24 hours a week (can increase).

Key Responsibilities

• Child and adult immunisations and vaccinations
• Asthma and COPD reviews and monitoring
• Simple dressings
• Chronic disease management
• Cervical cytology
• Spirometry
• Diabetes care
• NHS health checks
• Health promotion and weight loss advice
• Smoking cessation
• Work with GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified Practice Nurse (UK)
• Experience with the above responsibilities
• Genuine team player attitude
• Reputable locum experience (optional)
• Good communication skills
