Legal Secretary & PA - Warrington

Seeking an experienced Legal Secretary & Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a Partner within a busy and fast-paced department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual with a strong legal background, ideally within Personal Injury, who thrives in a professional environment.

You will play a key role in supporting the Partner and wider team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Duties:
  • Preparing and managing correspondence, legal documents, and court papers
  • Audio and copy typing to a high standard (approximately 50% of your role)
  • Proactive client liaison, including handling queries, taking messages, and relaying information
  • Maintaining and organising filing systems
  • Preparing document indexes and bundles, including e-bundles (training provided)
  • General administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and document collation
  • Arranging appointments, meetings, and diary management
  • Supporting with additional administrative tasks as required
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary (ideally within Personal Injury)
  • Strong knowledge of Personal Injury processes and procedures
  • Experience using legal software (ideally Proclaim)
  • Excellent typing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality legal documentation
  • Outstanding spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A professional, confidential, and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic

Salary £27,000
