About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling our learners to participate fully and confidently in college life. This includes:

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting learners across a wide range of curriculum activities, always promoting independence.
• Assisting tutors with the delivery and assessment of learning activities.
• Preparing learning environments and resources.
• Working with learners with a variety of disabilities, including physical, sensory and behavioural needs.
• Collaborating with care teams, Integrated Therapy Services, clinical staff and other departments to deliver outcomes outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Ensuring every learner has equal access to learning opportunities.
• Providing personal care where required (training provided).

Salary & Hours

• £13.19 per hour / £22,859.33 per annum (actual)
• From 1st April £13.73 per hour/£23,795.19 per annum (actual)

• 37 hours per week (part-time 3-4 days considered)
• Working weeks: 40 (term-time)
• Paid holiday: 6.84 weeks (5 weeks plus 10 bank holiday days, pro-rated)
