Learning Support Assistant

Milk Education Liverpool are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Liverpool who are seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students in Key Stages 3 and 4.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people, particularly those with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs, and who wants to make a real difference in the classroom.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
• Support students with SEND, SEMH, ADHD, ASD, or learning difficulties
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Help students develop confidence, independence, and social skills

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
• Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
• Has a genuine interest in education and supporting learners
