Learning Experience Co-ordinator

We're looking for a Learning Coordinator to support the delivery of high quality learning and leadership programmes at Laing O'Rourke. This is a hands oncoordination role focused on organising programmes, supporting learning events, and delivering a great learner experience.
We're open to candidates with a background in event management, coordination or similar roles. This is a people facing position, so we're looking for someone personable, proactive and confident working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Please note: occasional UK travel is required, including some overnight stays (with at least one month's notice).
What You'll Be Doing:You'll help coordinate and deliver key programmes, including:
- People Manager Series
- Leadership programmes
- Construction Engineering Masters (in partnership with the University of Cambridge)
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating learning programmes end-to-end, from nominations and launch events to masterclasses and close events (virtual and in-person)
- Providing on-the-day support at in-person learning events, responding quickly to issues as they arise
- Managing learning administration, including invoicing, contracts, attendance tracking and updating records in SuccessFactors
- Liaising with internal stakeholders (People team, leaders, executives) and external partners (learning providers, venues, University of Cambridge)
- Supporting logistics such as room bookings, materials, diary management and communications
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- A personable, confident approach and the ability to build positive working relationships
- Initiative and the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail, particularly when managing processes and data
- A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering a positive learner experience
- An interest in improving processes and ways of working
- Data skills, including cleaning, analysing and interpreting data (Excel or similar)
- Good digital skills, with experience using tools such as:
- SuccessFactors LMS
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
- LinkedIn Learning
- Articulate, Adobe Acrobat/Photoshop, Mentimeter or similar tools
