Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy and supportive team at the Antenatal Outpatients at both Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr and Royal Gwent Hospital sites

Shift Pattern:

Monday - 8am - 4.30pm (YYF)

Tuesday - 8am - 4.30pm (YYF)

Thursday - 8.30am - 1pm (RGH)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Flexible approach to work, including Saturday morning rotations

Team player with the capacity to work independently

Previous reception or customer service experience preferred

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients in person or via telephone

Schedule, amend, and cancel appointments

Process referrals, clinic outcomes and update waiting lists

Maintain professional communication with patients and staff

Contribute to the efficient operation of our reception and booking services

The ability to speak Welsh is Essential for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
