Learning and Development Lead

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Learning and Development Lead to join a leading organization within the manufacturing and industrial sector based in a regional hub. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to shape and deliver strategic learning solutions that enhance workforce skills, leadership capabilities, and long-term talent development. As a key member of the local People Team, the Learning & Development Lead will partner closely with HR, operational leaders, and external providers to design and implement impactful training programmes. You will play a vital role in driving a culture of continuous learning, supporting managers in developing their teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards across the site.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with organizational goals and local needs to build workforce capability.
• Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of tailored training programmes covering leadership, soft skills, technical, and compliance areas.
• Collaborate with HR partners and operational leaders to identify skills gaps and future capability requirements.
• Manage and continuously improve digital learning systems and monitor key learning metrics to demonstrate ROI.
• Ensure onboarding and induction programmes meet compliance standards and reflect the company's vision.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• A Degree or higher level in HR, Education, Organisational Development, Psychology, or related field.
• Proven 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development roles, ideally within regulated or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrable expertise in instructional design, adult learning facilitation, needs analysis, and digital learning platform management.
