I'm currently supporting a leading Investment Bank in their search for an experienced Lead Java/Full Stack Developer to join their Fixed Income team.
This role plays a key role in an exciting multi-year platform modernisation project, responsible for building completely new real-time microservices for a range of trading workflows.
Responsibilities- Develop real-time high-performing micro-services across Fixed Income
- Architecting solutions across the full stack
- Influence platform direction and drive the adoption of modern tooling and frameworks
- Work closely with business stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross functional teams
- Strong experience with modern Java/Kotlin and React
- Experience in Front Office environments (Fixed Income is a benefit)
- Experience with concurrency, memory management and reactive programming models
- Experience with using modern front-end tooling
- Experience with low-latency and event-driven UIs
- Understanding of distributed system design principles
- Strong individual contributor who can not only contribute to architecture decisions but also lead and provide direction for others
