I'm currently supporting a leading Investment Bank in their search for an experienced Lead Java/Full Stack Developer to join their Fixed Income team.

This role plays a key role in an exciting multi-year platform modernisation project, responsible for building completely new real-time microservices for a range of trading workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time high-performing micro-services across Fixed Income
• Architecting solutions across the full stack
• Influence platform direction and drive the adoption of modern tooling and frameworks
• Work closely with business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross functional teams

Qualifications

• Strong experience with modern Java/Kotlin and React
• Experience in Front Office environments (Fixed Income is a benefit)
• Experience with concurrency, memory management and reactive programming models
• Experience with using modern front-end tooling
• Experience with low-latency and event-driven UIs
• Understanding of distributed system design principles
• Strong individual contributor who can not only contribute to architecture decisions but also lead and provide direction for others
