Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Are you a Lead or Senior Engineer with a background in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering? Then this is your opportunity to take on a key role with technical responsibility for multidisciplinary projects while contributing to innovative system solutions in the (petro)chemical and oil & gas sectors.
Your Role
As Lead/Senior E&I Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems. You will lead a team of engineers and serve as the technical point of contact in your field of expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating E&I engineering activities within projects
- Designing electrical and instrumentation systems in accordance with client requirements and applicable standards
- Preparing technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
- Performing calculations and technical analyses to ensure system performance and safety
- Collaborating with other disciplines such as mechanical and process engineering
- Monitoring progress, quality, and budget in close cooperation with the project manager
- Providing technical support during procurement and execution phases
- Ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Contributing expertise in analyzer systems and sample conditioning system design and integration
What You Bring
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including standards such as ATEX and IEC
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams and working in a project-driven environment
- Specific experience with analyzer systems and sample conditioning systems is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude
- Analytical mindset with a focus on quality, cost control, and results
- Willingness to travel when necessary
