Lead Software Developer

Role Focus

Responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and continuity of custom software systems (applications, databases, interfaces) while guiding the development team and upholding coding standards. Acts as a mentor and technical coach for developers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical

• Develop and maintain software as per specifications and best practices
• Support planning, production, and implementation
• Advise on technical feasibility and contribute to the tech roadmap
• Balance quick delivery with long-term code quality

Quality Assurance

• Lead code reviews, error monitoring, and quality checks
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and system stability
• Support issue resolution and participate in on-call rotations

Team & Process Management

• Improve workflows and knowledge sharing
• Escalate critical issues or delays
• Ensure accurate time tracking for all team members

People Leadership

• Mentor developers and support skill development
• Conduct interviews and performance reviews
• Promote a positive, collaborative team culture
• Manage team availability and process continuity

Knowledge and Experience

• At least 6 years of experience as a .NET developer, including several years as a Lead Developer.
• Familiar with SOLID principles, design patterns, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Front-end experience with Knockout.js or React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS is a plus.
• Experienced with C#, MVC.NET, Core.NET, WebApi, SOA, and ServiceBus.
• Experienced with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Skilled in using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Higher education level (HBO/WO).
