The city of Fribourg is offering a position for a Landscape Foreman - Maintenance of recreational areas at 100% (M/F) in the Urban Planning X Architecture Service, Parks and Promenades sector.Your missions:- Follow and develop differentiated management (biodiversity)- Manage the maintenance and safety of playgrounds- Supervise masonry work (slabs, paving, curbs, maintenance of football fields and adjacent green areas)- Plan and coordinate the work of the teams responsible for these activities (10 staff members)- Ensure health and safety at workYour profile:- CFC in horticulture with federal diploma in landscaping or ES technician or equivalent- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar fields with experience in team management- Management or leadership experience would be an asset, as well as expertise in tree diagnostics- Ease in communication and public service mindset- Ability to prioritize and coordinate while adopting a global and transversal vision- Autonomous, reliable, and responsible individual with a team spirit- Proficiency in standard office tools- Fluent in French or German with very good oral and written knowledge of the partner languageStart date: 1st June or to be agreed uponSensitive to sustainable development, the City of Fribourg requests that applications be submitted via the recruitment website (until March 10).
