Backed by the Marmon Aerospace & Defence Group, we combine manufacturing capability, UKAS accredited calibration services and technical expertise to deliver industry-leading solutions.THE OPPORTUNITYAs a Laboratory Technician, you will join our UKAS accredited laboratory and play a key role in supporting the calibration of temperature sensors, instruments and systems used across aerospace, heat treatment and industrial markets. You will work closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Laboratory to maintain the highest standards of quality, technical accuracy and compliance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Perform calibration of temperature sensors, instruments and systems • Support the maintenance of UKAS accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025 compliance • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with approved procedures • Produce accurate calibration certificates and reports • Maintain calibration and test records • Support product qualification testing and auditing activities • Follow laboratory procedures, specifications and applicable standards • Support continuous improvement activities within the laboratoryABOUT YOUEssential: • Minimum 2 years' experience in temperature measurement, calibration or a related technical field • Experience conducting testing and calibration activities • Knowledge of thermometry principles and temperature measurement systems • Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements • Ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentationSkills & Attributes: • Strong attention to detail • Good written and verbal communication skills • Organised and methodical approach • Analytical problem-solving ability • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure • Positive team player with a willingness to learn and developWHY JOIN CCPI?• Join a UKAS accredited laboratory with an excellent industry reputation • Work with customers across aerospace, heat treatment and advanced manufacturing sectors • Be part of a technically focused and growing business • Ongoing training and development opportunities • Supportive team environment • Opportunity to develop specialist expertise within temperature measurement and calibrationFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
