Laboratory Technician (Part Time)

Location: Felixstowe

Salary: £20,417.40 (pro rata from £34,029) + 25 days holiday (pro rata) + bank holidays + pension (up to ER 10% / 5% EE) + life assurance (4 salary)

Working hours: Wednesday to Friday, 24 hours per week, 08:00 to 16:30.

This role is part of a well established production plant in Felixstowe, offering job security and a great working culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample preparation
• Analysis on finished products and raw materials using approved methods
• Reporting any non conformances
• Use of autoclaves, balances, microscopes
• HPLC

Candidate Profile

• Hands on laboratory experience in microbiological testing
• Experience with sample preparation and serial dilution techniques, plating and plate reading
• Experience using basic laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, balances, microscopes and exposure to higher level equipment such as HPLC
