KS2 Class Teacher

GSL Education Leicester is recruiting for an experienced KS2 Teacher for a lovely Primary School in the Leicester area. The school works in partnership with children, parents, and the wider community to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that challenges children to reach their full potential. The Role:

The role is full-time. You will be responsible for teaching a class of KS2 pupils, including planning, recording, assessing, and delivering lessons. You will need to meet the social and learning needs of pupils.

As a Year 2 Class Teacher with GSL Education, you will:

• Have previous experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils
• Be warm, enthusiastic, and well-organized
• Be passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children
• Be flexible and have a good sense of humor
• Be reflective and committed to improving your practice
• Work collaboratively to help every student reach their full potential

Ideal candidates should:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching certification
• Have at least 1 year of teaching experience in KS2
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be capable of liaising effectively with parents, staff, and students
• Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that promote critical thinking
• Maintain accurate academic records and monitor student progress regularly
• Lead and supervise to support high levels of student attainment
• Evaluate and intervene to ensure all students make expected progress
• Inspire and motivate students to learn and grow
• Provide differentiated learning experiences tailored to students' needs
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered with the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education
