Khalsa Leamington Hockey Club is seeking an ambitious and experienced Head Coach to lead our Ladies 1st XI for the 2026/27 season and play a key role in the next phase of the team's development.

Currently competing in Midlands Division 1, our Ladies 1s are a driven and talented squad with a clear objective of pushing for promotion in the coming season. We are looking for a coach who can bring strong tactical leadership, structured performance training, and a clear vision for how the team can progress to the next level.

This is an excellent opportunity for a coach who enjoys working with ambitious players and wants to make a genuine impact within a supportive and forward-thinking club environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality, performance-focused weekly training sessions
• Develop and implement a clear tactical approach and playing identity
• Prepare the team for league competition and lead matchday games (Attendance at all league matches is essential)
• Work collaboratively with the team captain, club captain and club committee to support the team's performance ambitions
• Drive player recruitment across the club and support a clear pathway for player progression between squads

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience coaching at club, university, pathway, or performance level
• Strong understanding of modern tactical hockey and player development
• Ability to build a high-performance culture while maintaining an enjoyable team environment
• England Hockey coaching qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
