What you'll do:
- Carry out a range of kitchen porter duties in line with schedules and supervisor instructions
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) legislation and standard
- Take responsibility for personal and team health & safety, ensuring no risk to others
- Deliver ad hoc food and equipment items to wards and clinical areas
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to support catering service delivery
- Complete daily records and documentation accurately and on time
- Move food trolleys and equipment safely, following procedures and escalation routes
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, infection control, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and operational
What you bring:

- Strong communication and listening skills with a focus on excellent customer care
- Emotionally resilient with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to change
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements in the workplace
- A reliable team player who can also use initiative and work independently
- The ability to stay on your feet and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills (e.g. food safety, health & hygiene)
