Job Description
Overview 
Sustainable female-led catering company seeking a brilliant, super organised Kitchen Ops Manager to lead the kitchen. Office-based, Monday to Friday daytime role. East London-based and known for creative, colourful and seasonal menus (often veggie or vegan). The company serves events from 20 to 500 guests and can deliver 15+ events in busy weeks.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop the kitchen team, including onboarding, training, and appraising Chefs.
- Create training and development plans and ensure quality and efficiency of all food produced in the kitchen.
- Oversee ordering, supplier relationships and financials, including labour and food costs.
- Support the owner with leadership responsibilities and help build a positive, motivated kitchen culture.
- Manage operational processes to support growth and event delivery.
- Experience leading chefs in professional kitchens.
- Highly organised with a passion for creating a great culture within kitchens.
- Keen interest in operations and people development.
- Kitchen experience is essential.
