Job Description
Overview

Sustainable female-led catering company seeking a brilliant, super organised Kitchen Ops Manager to lead the kitchen. Office-based, Monday to Friday daytime role. East London-based and known for creative, colourful and seasonal menus (often veggie or vegan). The company serves events from 20 to 500 guests and can deliver 15+ events in busy weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the kitchen team, including onboarding, training, and appraising Chefs.
  • Create training and development plans and ensure quality and efficiency of all food produced in the kitchen.
  • Oversee ordering, supplier relationships and financials, including labour and food costs.
  • Support the owner with leadership responsibilities and help build a positive, motivated kitchen culture.
  • Manage operational processes to support growth and event delivery.
Qualifications
  • Experience leading chefs in professional kitchens.
  • Highly organised with a passion for creating a great culture within kitchens.
  • Keen interest in operations and people development.
  • Kitchen experience is essential.
