A friendly and inclusive primary school in Gateshead is seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team and support pupils during the important early stages of their learning journey.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a school where staff work closely together to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young pupils.
Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
The RoleAs a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will help pupils develop the essential foundations they need for future learning.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging KS1 lessons across the primary curriculum
- Supporting early phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
- Creating a structured and supportive classroom environment
- Monitoring pupil progress and adapting lessons where needed
- Working closely with teaching assistants and leadership staff
- Encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence

What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
