Salary: €45,000 - €65,000 depending on experience

At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Junior and Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our client's growing team based in Dublin and Armagh. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes:

• Preparing cost estimates and budgets for new and existing projects.
• Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
• Assisting in contractor selection and procurement strategies.
• Managing contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements.
• Monitoring project progress and prepare reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Tracking project expenditures and analyse variances.
• Preparing interim and final payment applications and valuations.
• Updating budgets to reflect changes in scope or design.
• Preparing and negotiate final accounts, ensuring accurate reflection of costs and project outcomes.

Experience you need:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Full driver's licence required
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal guidelines.
• Strong numeracy and financial management skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel).
• Experience in large-scale commercial, infrastructure or residential projects desirable
