Inform3 are currently recruiting a Junior Engineer for civil projects based in Galway. Our client is a well-established and highly respected contractor with extensive experience in the civil engineering sector. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline in the Galway area, they are seeking a motivated and ambitious engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with Site Management and project stakeholders
• Review and interpret site drawings and specifications
• Set out works accurately and efficiently, ensuring high standards are maintained
• Supervise and coordinate site teams, ensuring clear communication at all times
• Coordinate plant, machinery, and equipment on site
• Order materials as required and manage deliveries
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct site inductions and deliver toolbox talks
• Attend and contribute to site meetings
• Act as the point of contact for technical queries on site
• Manage site traffic and logistics
• Provide regular progress reports to Site Management

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 1+ year's experience in a similar role
• Proven setting out experience
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Full, clean driving licence
