Junior Engineer

Inform3 are currently recruiting a Junior Engineer for civil projects based in Galway. Our client is a well-established and highly respected contractor with extensive experience in the civil engineering sector. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline in the Galway area, they are seeking a motivated and ambitious engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise closely with Site Management and project stakeholders
- Review and interpret site drawings and specifications
- Set out works accurately and efficiently, ensuring high standards are maintained
- Supervise and coordinate site teams, ensuring clear communication at all times
- Coordinate plant, machinery, and equipment on site
- Order materials as required and manage deliveries
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct site inductions and deliver toolbox talks
- Attend and contribute to site meetings
- Act as the point of contact for technical queries on site
- Manage site traffic and logistics
- Provide regular progress reports to Site Management
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 1+ year's experience in a similar role
- Proven setting out experience
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full, clean driving licence
