At Copper.co , we're building the infrastructure that enables institutions to safely and efficiently engage with digital assets. As the digital economy accelerates, our commitment to innovation, security, and transparency places us at the forefront of institutional crypto solutions.

We're excited to offer a unique opportunity for an aspiring data professional to join our Data & Insights team as a Data and Business Insights Apprentice . This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with a curious mind, a passion for data, and a desire to shape how data informs decisions across a fast-growing fintech company.

As part of this hands-on program, you'll gain real-world experience working alongside data analysts, engineers, and business leaders-translating complex data into actionable insights that drive strategy and innovation across Copper's global operations.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Look into reports using Looker, Data Pipeline Development
  • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data.
  • Database Management: Support the creation and optimisation of databases and data storage solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data is prepared and available for analysis.
  • Data Security: Help implement measures to secure data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in data systems and pipelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes and systems.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

  • £24,000 per annum
  • Monday - Friday 8-5 or 9-6
  • Paid Time Off - A minimum of 35 days of paid time off per year, inclusive of annual leave and public holidays. Employees also receive one additional day of annual leave for each year of service.

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
  • Grade 4/C at GCSE in English and Maths is required for this role
