Java Developer/Team Lead/Brussels/Hybrid/570 Euros per day

Excellent, long-term mission for a Belgium based Java Developer/Team Lead to work on a technical modernization project for Back End systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Java, Oracle database, and batch processing, as well as experience with decommissioning orchestration tools like TIBCO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical modernization of our Back End systems, focusing on decommissioning TIBCO and replacing it with more modern technologies
• Work on the technical design and implementation of a new architecture
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement a scalable and maintainable architecture
• Ensure the technical quality and performance of the systems, including troubleshooting and optimization

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Java development with Spring framework
• Strong technical expertise in Oracle database and batch processing using Spring Batch
• Experience with decommissioning and replacing orchestration tools like TIBCO
• In-depth knowledge of Kafka queues, messaging systems, and integration patterns
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
• Experience with technical leadership and team management
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (eg Jenkins, Git)

Nice to have:

• Experience with containerization (eg Docker)
