A Permanent IT Support Partner role is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for a Galway-based client. The position requires a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Partner to join the Galway campus in Ireland.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive IT support, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure on-site. Occasional after-hours work and some travel to support other office locations may be required.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support for PCs, peripheral devices, and the M365 suite of applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, application, access, and connectivity issues.
- Support PC deployment via Autopilot, imaging, setup, maintenance, and replacement of IT equipment.
- Manage hardware asset lifecycle and records following standard processes.
- Assist with onboarding, off boarding, and employee technology setup.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of servers and networking equipment.
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems, focusing on cyber security best practices.
- Assist with operational technology security for devices connected at the site in OT environments.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support to end users, both on site and remotely.
- Document and track incident support requests, resolutions, and escalations.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to IT systems and infrastructure.
- Participate in IT enterprise and local projects, rollouts, and site support activities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role or a similar position.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with PCs, peripheral devices, and the M365 suite of applications.
- Knowledge of servers, networking, and cyber security is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD 102) are a plus.
Permanent position based on site at the Galway facility.
