Overview

Our client is a major European public sector organisation responsible for financial operations and budget execution across EU member states.

This role supports critical financial systems that underpin treasury operations, secure payments, and high-value transactions.

Working in a secure Linux-based environment, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing financial applications such as SWIFT, Bloomberg, and Eurex .

You'll collaborate closely with the Treasury and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable services for high-impact European finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support software and IT infrastructure (primarily Linux-based)
• Operate and maintain financial transaction systems such as SWIFT, Bloomberg, and Eurex
• Implement and monitor security standards across systems and processes
• Participate in technical meetings, prepare and maintain all relevant documentation
• Support system upgrades, performance tuning, and business continuity testing
• Perform daily operational checks and contribute to incident recovery planning
• Work with internal users to resolve issues and implement enhancements

Ideal Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Strong experience in Linux systems administration (RedHat/CentOS or similar)
• Hands-on experience with financial platforms such as SWIFT, Bloomberg, Eurex, or similar
• Solid understanding of infrastructure security principles and best practices
• Proven ability to work in structured environments and produce high-quality documentation
• Experience with infrastructure installation, monitoring tools, and operational support
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Previous exposure to European Institutions or public sector projects (preferred but not essential)
