Job Description
- Lead on a portfolio of IOSCO committees, including supporting senior leadership on the IOSCO MMOU MG, FinTech Taskforce, and new Wholesale Conduct committee
- Support the FCA's international engagement at IOSCO on various topics
- Work with teams within the International Division and across the FCA on the strategy for international engagement, influencing, and advocacy
- Develop international policy positions on issues of common interest to the UK with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor IOSCO and other international stakeholders' and authorities' work and output
- Ensure intelligence and policy developments are understood throughout the FCA
- Analyse complex regulatory and stakeholder-management issues for senior leaders
- Brief senior leaders for meetings
- Support broader work across the Global Institutions Team, including potential IMF financial sector assessment and non-bank financial intermediation work
- Prior international engagement experience, including European-level or global-level experience
- Experience engaging with other jurisdictions
- Demonstrable stakeholder management experience
- Ability to identify, build, and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with flexibility and pragmatism
- Strong organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver to tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, including communicating effectively in person and explaining complex issues concisely in writing
- Good judgement and ability to identify relevant issues from wide-ranging data points
- Ability to present analysis outcomes quickly, clearly, and effectively
Demonstrates expertise in international engagement and stakeholder management, with a strong ability to develop policy positions and communicate complex issues effectively. Proven track record in collaborating with diverse teams and managing competing priorities under pressure.
