Job Description

Title: Investigator Payment Associate

Location: London, office based 1 day a week

As an Investigator Payment Associate, you will join the world's largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

Working fully embedded within an innovative multinational pharmaceutical company through ICON, you will be responsible for budget planning, analytics, and payment execution within a specific country or extended country group (UK).

What you will be doing:
  1. Support country SSU strategy in collaboration with SSO Study Start-Up Team Lead and Managers to meet SSU timelines and deliverables according to country commitments.
  2. Manage project controlling & budget, supporting financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of project costs and drivers.
  3. Set up and validate investigator contracts in the accounting system for clinical studies.
  4. Execute and monitor internal controls.
  5. Translate Grant Plans into local Payment Schemes.
  6. Prepare and submit country TCF(s).
  7. Update systems (ACT, Optimus, etc.).
  8. Execute payments and communicate with sites regarding payment issues.
  9. Track and oversee payment status.
  10. Ensure compliance with financial standards, legislation, ICH/GCP, IRB/IEC, Health Authority, and SOP requirements.
  11. Implement innovative and efficient processes aligned with client strategy.
You are:
  1. Authorized to work in the UK.
  2. At least 12 months' experience in a similar role.
  3. Open to attending the London office once a week.
  4. Available to start within 4 weeks.
