Job Description

Our client, a leading global law firm with an exceptional reputation for excellence and innovation, is seeking an experienced Strategic Pitch Manager to join their London office on an initial3-month contract. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of high-impact, high-priority panel and matter pitches on a global scale.

Acting as a trusted recruitment partner to this international legal powerhouse, we're looking for a driven, collaborative professional who can manage the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic pitches-from initial client briefing through to submission, presentation, and post-pitch feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex, high-priority panel and matter pitches across global markets.

  • Own the full pitch lifecycle: briefings, proposal documentation, presentation prep, and post-pitch analysis.

  • Develop tailored pitch strategies based on client needs, relationship dynamics, competitive landscape, and firm capabilities.

  • Project manage each opportunity effectively, ensuring stakeholder contributions are timely and deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

  • Engage with senior stakeholders across business functions and legal practices to shape compelling, client-focused proposals.

  • Draft original content as needed; tailor existing material to reflect the client's specific opportunity.

  • Conduct research into prospective clients, competitors, and broader market trends to inform strategy.

  • Support post-submission debriefs, collate feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of pitch processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience managing the pitch lifecycle in a professional services environment-ideally legal, but other sectors considered.

  • Strong multi-project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations.

  • Proven ability to produce winning proposals that reflect commercial understanding and client insight.

  • Confident in stakeholder engagement and relationship management at all levels.

  • Excellent communication and editing skills; able to craft bespoke, client-focused content that stands out.

  • Skilled in market research, competitor analysis, and post-pitch performance evaluation.

  • Highly collaborative with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.

Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified in marketing, business, or a related discipline. Postgraduate or professional qualifications in leadership or marketing are desirable.

You'll join a high-performing Strategic Pitch function that sits within a globally integrated Business Development & Marketing (BDM) team. The team is collaborative, dynamic, and aligned with the firm's broader strategic goals.
