An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Content Manager to join the Digital team at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. This pivotal role will lead the planning, creation, and delivery of high-quality, engaging, and user-focused content across a range of digital platforms.

As Digital Content Manager, you'll take ownership of content design on kew.org, oversee audioproduction, and manage a talented team of content producers. Your work will play a vital role in enhancing Kew's digital presence, inspiring our audiences to visit our gardens and learn more about our world-leading scientific work.

We are seeking a Digital Content Manager with significant experience in commissioning and producing engaging, high-quality content across a range of formats, including text, audio, and visual media. The ideal candidate will be confident working with content management systems to publish and maintain content on a complex website, with a strong understanding of digital workflows and governance.

You will bring excellent editorial judgement and a user-first mindset, ensuring all content is purposeful, accessible, and aligned with audience needs. You will have a data-informed approach, with experience using analytics and user insights to evaluate performance and continuously optimise content. A solid understanding of content design principles, accessibility standards, and search engine optimisation (SEO) is also key.

In addition, you will have experience of managing digital content projects, as well as leading and developing a team. Strong project management skills and a collaborative approach will be critical in this role.

Interviews are due to take place during 20-22 August 2025.

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.
