• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
• Manage the accounting and finance team effectively.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Provide financial advice and insights to support decision-making processes

A successful Interim Head of Finance should have:

• Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong experience in managing financial operations, ideally within a school setting.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team effectively.
• Happy to work 5 days a week on site, West London.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Competitive daily rate between £350 and £450.
• Temporary role based in London with potential for professional growth/ permanent opportunity
