Job Description
This Interim Governance Consultant will:
- Provide governance support to the C-suite, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of board meeting materials, including agendas and minutes.
- Monitor organisational policies and recommend updates to align with best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate effective decision-making processes.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for governance-related documentation.
- Support the implementation of governance frameworks and processes.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on governance improvements.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim governance Consultant professional should have:
- 2+ years experience in governance or a related field within the not-for-profit sector ideally within a housing association.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Be part, full or working towards CGI qualification.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in preparing professional reports and documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- A meticulous approach to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and processes.
