Your new role
As an Interim Finance Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening the financial backbone of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading month-end close processes for financing and holding entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns and monthly corporate tax provisions in line with current legislation.
- Managing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Producing statutory accounts under IFRS and managing external audit engagements.
- Mentoring and developing a qualified accountant within your team.
- Driving process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a proactive and technically strong finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Specifically, you will have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CAANZ or equivalent).
- Audit training and experience in a high-growth business.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK tax regulations.
- A track record in financial reporting, audit, and team leadership.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with automation tools and financial systems such as NetSuite.
