We are currently seeking an experienced Brownfield Instrumentation Designer to support high-impact projects within the offshore energy transition domain. The ideal candidate has a strong background in detailed design for brownfield environments and is capable of delivering high-quality instrumentation design work independently.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Brownfield Instrumentation Designer, you will:

  • Perform detailed design activities for brownfield projects with minimal supervision
  • Prepare instrumentation design deliverables including:
  • Cable lists
  • Block diagrams
  • Cable tray, equipment, fire & gas, and telecom layouts
  • Loop diagrams
  • Connection diagrams
  • Work in alignment with project engineering teams and contribute to high-accuracy design packages
  • Ensure designs comply with project-specific standards and best practices, including Shell/NAM (preferred)
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and interface with offshore platforms as required
  • Apply AutoCAD for design and documentation purposes
  • Adhere to safety standards and contribute to safe work practices on- and offshore


Your Profile:

You bring a solid technical background and hands-on design experience to the table. Specifically, you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience working for an engineering company
  • Strong background in brownfield instrumentation design for offshore O&G platforms
  • Proficiency in delivering detailed instrumentation documentation independently
  • Familiarity with NAM/Shell standards (preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (preferred)
  • Valid offshore certification (BOSIET) or willingness to obtain it
