Overview

Insolvency Associate - Legal Director - Cardiff. A leading Cardiff team is seeking an Insolvency Associate to join its well established practice. The successful candidate will handle a broad mix of advisory and transactional insolvency work, acting for insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors and creditors across a wide range of sectors. The role offers exposure to complex restructurings, contentious matters and corporate recovery projects, providing excellent scope to develop specialist expertise. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and the confidence to manage a varied caseload. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential, as the role involves working closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver clear, pragmatic solutions for clients. This position offers a supportive environment, high quality work and genuine opportunities for progression within a growing team. Hybrid working arrangements are available in line with business needs. Ideally you will have a demonstrable background in Insolvency law, whilst applications from Solicitors with 3+ PQE will be considered.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Ideally a background in Insolvency law; applications from Solicitors with 3+ PQE will be considered.
  • Strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
