Your future role
Bring your expertise and dedication to quality to our innovative team! The Industrial Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance protocols, conducting audits and inspections, and performing root cause analyses on defects.
This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
We'll look to you for:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system and adherence to established standards.
- Perform inspections of subassemblies or finished ALSTOM products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/ or electrical measurements.
- Contribute into site improvement actions and programs related to the IQ scope.
- Accepts / Rejects products as defined in the working instructions.
- Accurately document (Non-Conformance Report) NCR and results of the inspections and testing, so as to launch the expected reaction on supplier side and Alstom teams
- Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Control the correct calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in the inspections.
- Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
- Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
- Works with industrial teams to alert on risks of missing parts due to defects
- Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required.
- Reports to Project Quality & Safety Lead the synthesis of inspection results, including KPI's.
- Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.
- Escalate the anomalies detected on the production lines & ensure their effective treatment (QRQC tool).
- Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection.
- Ensure quality animation methodology, in line with APSYS requirements
