Job Description

Role Title: Human Resources Intern

Location of internship: 1 Angel Court, London EC2R 7HJ

Length of Internship: 8 weeks

Start Date: 15th June - 7th August 2026

Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00

Student Type: Penultimate or Final Year students

This role is particularly suited for students studying: Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Organisational Behaviour, Data Analytics, Business Analytics

About the Role:

This internship is designed for a student interested in how AI can improve HR processes and decision making in a growing bank. The role offers a structured project focused on practical opportunities across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR analytics.

  • Explore how AI can improve HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR data analysis.
  • Research practical AI tools and approaches relevant to HR teams.
  • Analyse current workflows and identify opportunities for greater efficiency and better decision making.
  • Support a defined project area such as AI in recruitment, chatbot support, HR analytics, employee engagement, or AI enabled learning and development.
  • Compare manual versus AI supported approaches where appropriate.
  • Prepare recommendations for safe and practical implementation.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and any prototype work at the end of the internship.

Nice to have:

  • Prior exposure to HR, recruitment, people operations, or organisational projects.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, dashboards, chatbots, or workflow tools.
  • Interest in responsible AI, bias, privacy, and governance considerations.
  • Experience with presentations, reporting, or case study style work.
