HR Manager Role

The HR Manager is a stand alone, hands on HR professional supporting a growing electrical manufacturing business. The role is the senior HR presence on site, working closely with a central corporate HR function in a fast paced environment.

The role combines operational HR delivery, site level people leadership, and the implementation of corporate HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with group standards while tailoring approaches to the realities of a fast paced electrical manufacturing environment and embedding a strong performance culture.

You will act as a trusted partner to site leadership, support a mixed shop floor and professional workforce, and collaborate with HR colleagues across other group sites to embed consistent people practices.

Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge
  • Proven experience in a stand alone or highly autonomous HR role
  • Background within electrical manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technical environments
  • Strong employee relations experience with confidence managing cases independently
  • Experience supporting shop floor and salaried employee populations
  • Strong understanding of UK employment legislation
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and operational leaders
  • Comfortable operating independently while working within corporate structures
  • Experience working within a group, or multi site organisation
  • Exposure to organisational growth, change, or integration
  • Experience embedding corporate initiatives at site level
  • HRIS experience
