HR Advisor (Maternity Leave) - Ballymoney - Terex

Terex is seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Advisor to join their Ballymoney facility on a fixed-term maternity cover. You will support site leadership and teams, delivering HR solutions that foster a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive work environment while driving engagement and aligning with business objectives.

What you'll be doing in this role:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership of the HR function at the site.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with site leaders, managers, and team members to support people-focused decision-making.
  • Lead on all employee relations matters, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Drive inclusive talent acquisition and onboarding processes that support diversity and equity in hiring.
  • Champion employee engagement and development initiatives that foster a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Partner with leaders to support performance development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
  • Guide the implementation of HR policies, ensuring they are inclusive, current, and clearly communicated.
  • Lead site-level HR reporting, analysis, and planning, providing insight to inform decisions.

What you'll need for this role:

  • A degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • CIPD membership (or working towards), or equivalent professional qualification. Significant HR generalist experience, including experience in a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Knowledge of Northern Ireland employment law and best practice people management.
  • Experience working in partnership with leaders to deliver positive people outcomes.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
