Job Description The HPCI (Hygiene, Prevention, and Infection Control) Nurse Referent is responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and compliance of hospital hygiene measures and infection prevention within the facility, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by rigorously adhering to cantonal and federal regulations (FOPH, Swissnoso, HPCI directives). He/she acts as a link between the nursing, medical, technical teams, and the management. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing (HES) or an equivalent title recognized by the Red Cross, complementary training in HPCI (e.g. HPCI module, continued education in hospital hygiene or equivalent). Experience in a hospital environment or in a similar field with professional extension missions. Solid knowledge of Swiss HPCI standards (FOPH, Swissnoso). Analytical skills, risk assessment, and proposal of office tools and support materials. Team spirit and ability to work in interdisciplinary settings. Rigor, discretion, and sense of responsibility.
