Job Description

A compassionate, proactive, and experienced Home Manager will lead a supported living/residential service for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring the highest standards of person centred care, safety and wellbeing while cultivating a positive environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong and visible leadership to the team, modelling best practice at all times.
  • Ensure the service meets all regulatory, contractual and organisational standards.
  • Develop individualised support plans that promote independence, choice and dignity.
  • Build effective relationships with residents, their families and partner agencies.
  • Manage budgets, staffing rotas, recruitment and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experienced leader within social care, ideally in learning disability or supported living settings.
  • Passionate about person centred care and promoting independence.
  • Skilled in building positive, collaborative team cultures.
  • Knowledgeable about CQC requirements and best practice in adult social care.
  • Organised, confident and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communicator, approachable, and solution focused.
  • Successful completion of a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure and Adults Barred List Renewable check.
