Job Description
A compassionate, proactive, and experienced Home Manager will lead a supported living/residential service for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring the highest standards of person centred care, safety and wellbeing while cultivating a positive environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong and visible leadership to the team, modelling best practice at all times.
- Ensure the service meets all regulatory, contractual and organisational standards.
- Develop individualised support plans that promote independence, choice and dignity.
- Build effective relationships with residents, their families and partner agencies.
- Manage budgets, staffing rotas, recruitment and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement quality assurance processes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures.
- Experienced leader within social care, ideally in learning disability or supported living settings.
- Passionate about person centred care and promoting independence.
- Skilled in building positive, collaborative team cultures.
- Knowledgeable about CQC requirements and best practice in adult social care.
- Organised, confident and able to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communicator, approachable, and solution focused.
- Successful completion of a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure and Adults Barred List Renewable check.
