Job Title: Technology Project Manager

Location: Leyland

Salary: Up to £50k

Car Allowance: £5k per annum

Holidays: 25 days

About the Role:

My client is seeking a Technology Project Manager to join their team, based in Leyland, Featherstone, or Penkridge. This position offers a great opportunity for a junior-level Project Manager to gain experience in the electrical and technology sectors, focusing on projects such as matrix signs, cabinets, and related infrastructure.

The Technology Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope. They will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution and maintain excellent communication with stakeholders, including road users and residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage established sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  2. Review and manage health & safety paperwork, identifying engineering discrepancies.
  3. Plan and oversee all project aspects, including scheduling and method statement preparation.
  4. Track project performance to adhere to budgets and objectives.
  5. Manage project documentation and report progress to senior management.
  6. Organise resources (labour, plant, materials, subcontractors) for each site.
  7. Support the team and assist in training new starters to maintain standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. HND/HNC qualification in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
  2. CSCS Gold Card is essential.
  3. SSSTS or SMSTS certification is essential.
  4. Proficiency in MS Project and Excel.
  5. Experience in the Electrical and Technology industry is desirable but not required.
Key Personal Qualities:
  1. Strong leadership and health & safety management skills.
  2. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  3. Professional, responsible, and reliable with minimal supervision.
  4. Effective communication skills with internal teams and external clients.
