HGV Yard Man

HGV Yard Man Reference Number -

We're looking for a reliable HGV Yard Man to join our team. This is a varied and hands on role supporting our busy workshop and yard operations.

The role

• Collecting and delivering vehicles locally for workshop repairs
• Road testing vehicles to help validate repairs
• Loading and unloading vehicles for brake testing
• Carrying out loaded brake tests
• Assisting with general yard duties
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and well organised
• Standing in to run the ATF lane during holiday cover

Working hours

• Monday to Friday (7:00am - 17:30)
• 47.5 hours per week

What we're looking for

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• A proactive and flexible attitude
• Good attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
• Previous experience in a similar role would be a bonus
