Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanics are preferred but not essential.
