HGV Lorry Driver - Trim (Co. Meath Area)

Full-Time €150 per day + allowances Immediate start available

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Driver (Class C or CE preferred) to join a well-established transport operation working across Ireland. This is a stable, full-time opportunity offering excellent daily pay, structured hours, and long-term potential.

The Role You will be responsible for the collection of food waste from supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants nationwide.

• Based from a Trim depot (exact location shared at interview stage)
• Solo driving role - you manage your own route independently
• Modern HGV fleet provided
• GPS-assisted route planning

Working Hours

• 5 days per week (mainly Monday-Friday)
• Occasional Saturdays and Public Holidays may be required
• Average: 40-45 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled food waste collections safely and efficiently
• Complete daily vehicle checks (before and after shifts)
• Maintain accurate collection and delivery records
• Ensure compliance with driver hours and transport regulations
• Keep vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well maintained
• Communicate effectively with the operations team
• Follow all health and safety procedures and participate in training

What We're Looking For

• Full, clean HGV licence (Class C or CE - CE preferred)
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experienceExperience in waste, recycling, or logistics is an advantage
• Strong reliability, organisation, and independence
• Flexibility for early starts, occasional weekends, and public holidays
• Good communication skills
